Google snatches Apple the title of most valuable brand

100 Top BrandZ is a rating system of marks used a methodology based on the financial results and contributions of the brand innovation that generate interest and appreciation for the said brand. In this list Apple took 3 consecutive years as the first, but Google has snatched the first place this year. 


According to the study in the last year Google has made much more investment and put more effort into their brand than Apple, promoting products like Google Glass or funding projects like Project Loon, an idea that seeks to provide Internet accessible to everyone through of weather balloons. Thanks to these investments and the value of Google sales reached $115 billion, against Apple that "only" had a value of $103 billion in 2013.

If we reflect a little on what this list is based and has been for Apple's 2013 conclusion is clear, having taken only the Mac Pro as new product innovation is not much. Yet Apple is in the second position, above brands like Amazon, Facebook and Twitter, so although the lists are not very relevant is not bad news for Cupertino.
