Apple has updated iWork beta for iCloud. The website from where we can create, edit and share iWork documents, has received new features that prepare you to more workload, plus some extra options to export files.
From now until hundred users can edit a document at the same time, nearly two hundred fonts, a rich color palette to give more form to our work. The graphics also come to the web version of iCloud, but only in two dimensions, and stresses that the documents can now take up to 1 GB of space.
Moreover, Pages is now able to export your ePub documents directly from the web and Numbers can do the same with their spreadsheets in CSV format. As for Keynote, it is now able to hide slide numbers in its interface.
Remember that we are talking about iCloud beta channel, which can only be accessed from the beta.icloud.com. Hopefully, as these characteristics have been thoroughly tested to pass icloud.com stable channel. Improvements are not expected, but surprisingly, the web is now able to support so many people editing a document. Not bad to compete with Google Drive, for example. Apple is taking its cloud increasingly serious.
