Apple disabled the login iChat with AIM in June 30

Fewer and fewer (19% according NetApplications MAC OSX) but are still there: those that use a previous version of OS X Lion 10.7.2 that they still have the iChat application on the system, and therefore need to know that Apple disables your logon AIM accounts from next June 30.

It's something that should affect a very small portion of all users of OS X, and even less in Spain where the AIM service was not very popular. I remember having used only with some friends from the United States and to identify with a nickname and not a full email address.

For everyone else, remember that iChat has become the Messages app that integrates with iCloud and iMessages. If by some chance you still using the AIM protocol, we still have alternatives such as Adium same application or official AIM client to use these messaging protocols.
