Something is near: Apple begins to protect their registered area "watches and jewelry" brands

Apple will register trademarks as "iWatch" is suspected but not confirmed anything ends, as you may be doing as a matter of rights. But things change when what Apple has been doing is to extend trademark protection to include the "clocks" and jewelry.

It is what they have discovered in MacRumors: when a company records a brand you can do it in 45 different classes depending on the type of product or service in question. Apple has started polishing records details Class 14, which relates to jewelry but also includes watches.

All these changes are being implemented in several countries, most recently Ecuador. Interestingly this extension is not yet covered in the United States, where surely it takes more work and bureaucracy to get it. I guess it's a matter of time, but every time we have less doubt that we have to do something new this year.
