Apple makes fun of Samsung a press announcement about its environmental responsibility

There are some ideas we want every company to copy

Apple is celebrating Earth Day with a series of "pronouncing" that range from the ad Better narrated by Tim Cook, the new website on environmental liability and future Campus 2 or expanding its recycling program. The last of these actions is a press release published in at least two newspapers in the UK, The Guardian and Metro, where the company takes to throw a dart at Samsung in a time returning to face in court.

The move does not catch us by surprise considering the topicality and the efforts being made by the Koreans at the media in its 45th anniversary to project an image as an innovative company with the launch of a website about his design philosophy and openness its own Museum of Innovation in South Korea. This exhibition also includes products of rival companies like Sony or Apple itself, but you will not find in a single iPhone and tries to see the Galaxy S II as the epicenter of the revolution of the smartphones.

The original Apple thus plays a dual role, returning to throw in a "concealed" the idea that they are leading the way and the rest follow them (Samsung or whoever is the hint), and emphasizing their environmental initiatives decided:
"There's one area where we actually encourage others to imitate us. Because when everyone makes the environment a priority, we all benefit. We'd be more than happy to see every data centre fuelled by 100% renewable energy sources. And we eagerly await the day when every product is made without the harmful toxins we have removed from ours.
Of course we know we can continue to do better. We've set some pretty ambitious goals for reducing our impact on climate change, making our products with greener materials and conserving our planet's limited resources. So the next time we come across a great idea that can help leave the world better than we found it, we look forward to sharing it."
In my opinion, if there is something I would not mind seeing companies fight tooth and nail is precisely in this. As Apple says on a day like today, everyone wins.
