The first months of any year within the Apple world are abuzz with rumors. Straddling the preceding months to come, expectations, interests and perspectives sometimes materialize in various unconfirmed reports, which do not cease to be an important ingredient in the history of the Cupertino company. We started the year still timidly, but interesting things begin to emerge:

  • One of the strongest rumors of the week was the possible leak of the first images of the new MacBook Air 12 ". According ifanr.com, the new Mac would not count on the illuminated apple and would look similar to the MacBook Pro frame with Retina display (not to say that this new Air count on it). a lot comes to mind the mythical PowerBook 12 "and for that alone, we are looking forward to seeing this new version (if in the end it materializes).

The next iPad could have Touch ID

Add to Flipboard Magazine.
When it introduced the iPhone 5S with Touch ID all thought the other Apple devices include the new identification system. Time passed and although out the iPad Air and iPad Mini (second generation), they never had the system installed. But recent rumors suggest that the new iPad will have built-Touch ID.

Apart from that found in iOS 7.1 source code, the rumor comes this time from the hardware part, specifically the company Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company which apparently would have provided Apple in mid-April the first batch of sensors touch, which would be designed for all future iOS devices, both a possible iPhone 6 as a Air iPad 2 and an iPad Mini 3.

That the next devices Touch ID is a logical move by Apple. And if it had not before is because it is quite likely that iPad and iPad Mini Air had the very advanced at the time of the presentation of the iPhone 5S.

EasyPay, the concept of mobile payments with Touch ID we want to see in iOS 8

Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Although it has already begun to explore the world of payments iPhone still has much to evolve. However, due to their expectation, there are many who are beginning to play with the idea that we know.
Now we have spoken several times of Touch ID, security and long-term intention of Apple to turn this feature on a standard payment method in the iPhone. The fact is that while we waiting time, still do not know how it would be, although some authors have decided to step forward with their own concepts.

EasyPay, a very interesting concept

We already know that Apple is working on a method of payment with iPhone. This was the conclusion from the Wall Street Journal and so many have come confirming rumors. In particular, although there are several examples of this, EasyPay define very well what could be the natural way of payment with iPhone, at least in terms of design. Ricardo del Toro, the author, has provisions Dribble a series of sample images of great quality and very well pointing to the conceptualization of the model.

Del Toro's work, both in its design and its staging could well be a great example of the future of payment with iPhone and not surprise us to find authentic and great similarities in the actual function. The concept of del Toro, some partners would be the first to take advantage of this feature, which also have been chosen quite rightly seen as they could directly benefit from a payment system with iPhone.

The reality of payment with iPhone

The truth is that with the possible similarities are actually quite striking. For example, both the design of the application itself as the minimalist, general are very significant, not only for aesthetics, but for functionality. The iPhone payment service should offer a digital account, as shown in the concept, which could not pay in cash. Simply connect and settle and we would have completed the transaction in such small things like coffee.

The idea behind the iPhone payment using Touch ID is quicker and easier everyday payments, creating a new standard in both everyday issues such as shopping features. This has been shown on several occasions since Cupertino, including some Tim Cook's statements. Implementing iBeacons in stores are promoting the increasingly rapid adaptation of these systems via mobile payments. Although the extension is still low, the iPhone is a payment system that promises much, considering the care we left closed ecosystem. So do not be surprised if we see an announcement about it in the months that lie ahead, and if finally we saw a pay official iPhone, not surprise us that looked like the concept of showing EasyPay del Toro.

Add to Flipboard Magazine.

A number added to that code (specifically found in iOS 7.1) within the property BiometricKit suggests that this sensor will be in a new range of iOS devices, namely the iPad Air and iPad mini. There will be no discrimination depending on the model, and that can also mean that plans to exploit more fully the sensor are closer.

We WWDC event in sight, but will be far more focused software not the hardware. But this year we need to see new iPad, and the combination of the sensor and the latest news TouchID iOS 8 can lead to very interesting things.

Services Apple, unstoppables: iTunes already has 800 million user accounts

Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Apple gave last night the results of its second fiscal quarter of 2014, and services company have staged a raise. iTunes, for example, already has 800 million user accounts. And most of them linked to a credit card.

This is an increase of 225 million accounts in just one year, thanks to strong sales of iOS devices in Brazil or China. These accounts have been downloaded more than 70,000 million applications, accounting for 10% of total company revenue. Proceeds from purchases of other catalogs (iTunes Store, iBooks Store, etc.) amount to 4.573 million dollars.

Another statistic that reflects the sales of these devices, namely the iPad, is that your web traffic is four times the sum of all Android tablets. Needless to say, the potential of all these devices and all those iTunes accounts for future payment system: Tim Cook has already admitted that the TouchID iPhone 5S sensor was made with a view to that system, and this year we could see how to lead these plans before PayPal and Google Wallet rival.

One last fact helps us to see the huge numbers of Apple: no operator having many credit cards among its customer base worldwide. As to not use it, right? It must be attentive to the event WWDC.

The version of iOS 7.1 was launched last March with several refinements to the user interface, a new calendar view and support for CarPlay among other innovations. Unfortunately this version introduced a problem with the Internet sharing option that has affected many users of iPhone 4 and apparently still not corrected in this new update.

With both the iWatch rumor and future iPhone, news of a payment platform from Apple had gone into the background.
