Been nearly eight months since Apple submit in partnership HomeKit, August iOS API dedicated to the automation of our home, and it is expected that the first compatible devices still take three or four months to get to the shops. It's not what is said record time, right?
HomeKit allow us to do things like ask Siri to turn off the lights, lock the doors, adjust the heating or connect the alarm; and will also be possible to group the instructions we want under a single action for this automation ballet begins in unison when we leave home no matter what products we use more than one brand.
Since then promises, and although it would have been great to start testing all these things in September with the release of iOS 8 Bluetooth and Wifi chips compatible with HomeKit were delayed. Texas Instruments, Marvell and Broadcom, Apple approved manufacturers did not begin to supply until early November, and even then they did using a beta version of its Apple firmware version while finalizing the protocol.

Developers at WWDC see signs of public transport in the Apple Maps
Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Although yesterday we told you about the internal problems that Apple is taking the time to include improvements on their maps, it seems that this does not mean that they are stuck. Maps continue to evolve and the proof is an image taken by one of the developers attending WWDC sessions.
During one of the conversations about new features of iOS8 exclusively geared towards developers, one of the slides that showed you could see an iPad with Apple Maps running. At the bottom, along with the different icons you could see a bus, so no need to work hard to imagine that we have prepared Apple.
It seems that Apple is working on one of the most criticized features and that their competitors already have, the different public transport routes within city. If Apple has not made any mention of this during the Keynote is because they would still have a ways to go. See if in fall, during the final presentation of iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite, be mentioned or functionality that we will see in future system upgrades.

Apple Introduces iOS 8 (Part two)
Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Keyboards from third
From now on, you can install from third keyboards. If you are bored of QuickType, the new predictive keyboard function iOS 8. This not only gives us the context related to help us write faster, but rather may even save write full words, analyzing and offering a message directly possible responses using language appropriate to the type of relationship you have with that contact. Supports 14 languages.
iMessage
Like Mail, iMessage also assimilated many of the functions of other messaging applications as temporarily mute group conversations, access to a view all images from that thread, share our position, send audio clips... In short, features we take for assumed Whatsapp or Facebook that is actually missing in iMessage.
A new chapter on integration between iOS and OS X
But if what you want is plain and simple innovation, Continuity is the word to remember. The way Apple has managed to integrate OS X and iOS to move from one device to another continuing right where we left off without sacrificing the personality of each. A hit in the center of the target which is enhanced further by iCloud Drive, the file management system that, do what he promised, were waiting.
Health is the first
HealthBook Do you remember? Well actually called Health, but it is basically what we expected, a hub that centralizes all data collected by the sensors of the iPhone and compatible medical accessories.
Sharing our purchases
Family Share is more than a function, it is an advantage of the new Apple store which is a clear benefit for those of us with multiple Apple devices spread between our family. Now we can group up to six accounts under one credit card to share our purchases, and if our son wants an app, receive a notice requesting our permission to proceed.
Photos
The Photos app has received a major update removing the limit of 1000 pictures and videos synchronizing from Photo Stream, multiplying tenfold editing and retouching options and synchronizing all changes immediately through iCloud with a new app for OS X Yosemite. Also, if you have connection, you need not even have pictures and videos taking up space to see them.
"Hey, Siri!!"
It is the turn to Siri, and although not shown detail, we were at the moment with 5 features:

The "welcome pack" of WWDC2014
Add to Flipboard Magazine.
This WWDC has something special: is the number 25, and it marks a quarter century of developer conferences full of innovations and that have moved to a lot of developers. Perhaps that is why in the welcome pack, this year Apple gives all the lucky attendees who won the lottery ticket, a voucher for $ 25 digital stores of the company.
In this card can read the phrase "25 years and coding". We also have the most common items, such as the official jacket of the conference and landyard accreditation.
In a few hours we will detail how to follow the keynote live, and of course promptly informed of all developments.

The Crystal Ball: WWDC 2014
Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Here we are, less than 9 hours of the Keynote of the Worldwide Developers Conference, where Apple will reveal some of the surprises in which have been working since last year. Excited? At least I I am, and that I have a crystal ball that allows me to see, in general terms and with some margin of error, which will present Apple:
Let's see what the future holds... yes, I see Tim Cook taking the stage to catch up on the latest figures from the iOS app store... Wow, over 75,000 million downloads already? 1,100,000 available Apps? Not bad, not bad. The Mac is also doing very well, and the new apple stores have looked great.
Yosemite OS X is the next thing I seem to discern and to Jonathan Ive worked on his aesthetic. If you liked the design of iOS 7 you will love this. Quite reminiscent of the iCloud web but have been allowed the luxury of adding some effects and animations really striking. Wait, yes, I see... finally AirDrop will be compatible with iOS function. No more, send messages to pass something to the iPhone. Yes, wait until fall will be long.
The new MacBook Pros available today, sorry, tomorrow, at the Apple Store also appears quite intensively in my view, although the Mac Mini and the iMac will still take longer to receive their deserved update.
The following is iOS 8, the next version of the mobile operating system apple comes without great aesthetic changes but further refinement of the marked line on iOS 7 and new features to get more out of both the Control Center and the Center Notifications . HealthBook will be one of my new series, and health become a key issue due to information compiled by the coprocessor M7 and future versions.
They also seem to have a system to use multiple apps simultaneously at least in the iPad. Siri is another of the strengths of the presentation, I think ... yes, finally opening a path for developers to integrate their apps features in the wizard voice. The first example of this integration will be Shazam for song recognition, but not the only one.
Finally, I see flashes of something called iWatch, a new version of AppleTV also more open to developers with its own app store, and a platform for home automation based on iOS ... but everything is very blurry and perhaps I will be arriving interference. Oh! The vision has been interrupted, I am exhausted, better not force the ball.

Test Healthbook concept
Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Healthbook is one of the developments that are expected to arrive with iOS version 8. The application would be the data center that would unify all the information related to health. From the activity, sleep, food and even other data such as heart rate, Cholesterol. Sure, as long as the rumors and information "leaked" is true.
As we have seen physical mockups of supposed iPhone 6, a user has created a prototype of how it would Healtbook. An application with an interface based on cards like Passbook and that there is little more to tell until you really know what will be monitored.
You can also try the app healthbook concept in the following website

iOS could integrate Shazam among its services
Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Rumors have risen around iTunes, Siri and iOS 8: Is Apple preparing to integrate a similar service Shazam on your operating system? So say sources close to the project and have decided to remain anonymous.
Until recently talked about Siri is lagging behind in terms of performance, Apple is not willing to let this happen easily. According to the latest rumors (Bloomerang) the company would be willing to add some kind of service similar to Shazam on iOS, and it could be announced at WWDC 2014.
They claim in the publication, several sources related to the project (do not want to be identified) have discussed the existence of this function in development. This would of application being developed with the help of Shazam Entertainment's own, who is collaborating with technology stored in his company, to meet an interesting trade agreement between the two.
The function, as mentioned, could be presented at the next WWDC. The data suggest that this would come in Shazam on iOS iOS 8 and will not be available before. The integration of this function would be very similar to other services such as Twitter or Facebook, to maximize your comfort.
We know that Apple is one of the companies that invest more money in the music industry, not only in the development of platforms as powerful as iTunes but throughout the technology behind the algorithms of identification and labeling songs. This measure could serve as an additional feature and very interesting to Siri.

New iWatch Concept with Flexible Screen and Healthbook
The iWatch could be reality soon and we all want to see with our own eyes. However, while it is official or not, we can see a new iWatch concept, this time designed by Edgar Rios. A really slick design.
We are now in April and as we all rumors point, assuming Apple clock, which we call iWatch will be presented in September. We do not know anything for sure about how it will be, or whether there will finally have the functions.
Despite the lack of official information, small leaks and rumors of both sources inform us that there might be two models, one for men and one for women, although screens are small, have a very good resolution 200 to 300 ppi.
Notifications, Healthbook and iOS 7 in this iWatch
Edgar Rios iWatch been thought to be a rectangular watch with many similar features to the iPhone. Notifications, Healthbook, music player or different clock modes or watchfaces as the Pebble smartwatch are viewing this designer.
Perhaps what I like best is the least likely part of this course iWatch. The watchfaces are perfect for adapting a smartwatch the day, allowing us to customize it to far.
Another characteristic for which the designer is Healthbook bet, the application that Apple has supposedly designed to measure our physical activity and our health. According to many sources suggest, this app would measure the steps we take daily blood pressure or advanced parameters such as blood glucose level.
And you, do you like this concept? Would you buy it?
