First press release of Angela Ahrendts

Hello!
Thank you so much for an amazing first month, all your emails, and your kind words of support. I sincerely appreciate the warm welcome and all of your insights and perspectives, which have helped me quickly understand and genuinely admire Apples‘s unique culture.
I have spent most of my time getting to know and understand the many functions and teams in Cupertino, along with our short and long term initiatives. I was thrilled to meet many of you at stores in San Francisco and London this month, and I‘m looking forward to Tokyo and the Omotesando opening. Every couple of weeks, we will be visiting stores across the world to see and learn what we do best and hear your thoughts about opportunities ahead.
Looking to the future, I feel our greatest opportunity will be continuing to focus on and evolve the customer joumey online and in our stores. Although technology is rapidly changing how customers shop, they still want to feel surprised and delighted by the personalized Apple experience we provide at every turn. That‘s what makes us unique. Keeping the customer experience as simple as any other Apple product will also be critical as we expand into new markets, integrate our platforms, and develop new technologies.
Again, thank you very much for all of your kind words of support. I am honored to be working at Apple and thrilled to be working with you. I know together we will continue to enrich lives and communities.
Thank you and see you very soon.
Bets always.
Angela

The Apple Store notice a decline in sales waiting WWDC 2014

Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Charlie Wolf, an analyst at Needham has sent investors a fact that reflects what many of you have noticed: a long time without news from Apple, which causes the Apple Store sales decline slightly. It's simple: people are aware that we will soon have renovations and therefore prefer to wait.

The expansion of the iPhone to dealers and other shops also diverts potential customers phenomenon that occurred when Apple wanted to get rid of all stocks iPod distributing it to other establishments. But we are far from the end of the life cycle of the iPhone: there are those who simply prefer we kept the saved money and wait a few more months.

I will not discuss Apple's release schedule, since I am not an expert on markets, and Apple has always been contrary to the wind direction.

It is Official: Angela Ahrendts is already the new senior vice president of Apple Retail

Add to Flipboard Magazine.
Tim Cook said it would be this week: finally, months after the announcement, Angela Ahrendts has ceased to be the CEO of Burberry and officially in as new head of Apple Retail and Apple online stores. This has been reflected in both the Burberry website like Apple in sections where it is shown to the policy. Rumors of this delay are contradicted.

Angela thus becomes the only woman member of the board of Apple, answering direct orders from Tim Cook and directing two sections that had never been run together: the website of the Apple Store and the division of physical stores. Replaces John Browett, who was temporarily in charge of those stores until Tim decided to fire him for not fit well in the company.

Angela must prove that Tim Cook is not wrong choosing it as happened to John Browett

In its day, Tim said that John was the best executive to lead Apple Retail and months later had to retract. Angela's task is clearly prevent the CEO of Apple has to go through the same situation. Under her responsibility is to continue the expansion of Apple stores and maintain its reputation as the most iconic chain stores in the world.

Who knows ... if we could see John Browett at the opening of the Apple Store in Passeig de Gràcia (Barcelona - Spain), might see Angela inaugurating the Apple Store next to Puerta del Sol (Madrid - Spain). Personally I ask only one thing: the iPad version Apple app Store reaches Spain.
