The Apple Store becomes the second online store, behind Amazon and surpassing Staples

Add to Flipboard Magazine.
The data could not be better for Apple Store and online sales during the last year have learned that they have increased 24 percent. This increase has led him to second in sales volume, behind Amazon. Apple has overtaken Staples an online store that sells office supplies.

According to a Wall Street Journal, Apple has got this second place this past year, but not because there has been an increase in sales, but because now in the annual report have been taken into account sales of iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac and Apple TV. Until now, only took into account the sales of peripherals and we all know this is not the forte of Apple.

Amazon is still far, last year worth over $ 67 billion and it bases its entire selling through Internet. But this year, with the additions of Angela Ahrendts and Bob Kupbens seems that Apple wants to give a "push" to its physical and electronic sales.

The App Store launched a new section to highlight the best of each month

Add to Flipboard Magazine.

Apple yesterday launched a new section on the App Store, which highlights the best of the month in apps and games in several categories. It is unclear whether this will become a habit each month.

Among the prominent applications of this month, for example, are the original Leo's Fortune and the already popular Hearthstone. This can also be a good way to go looking for alternatives to highlight applications beyond the classical section highlights where we have seen many applications use unethical methods to get a square ways.

The fact is that while we waiting time, still do not know how it would be, although some authors have decided to step forward with their own concepts.

EasyPay, a very interesting concept

We already know that Apple is working on a method of payment with iPhone. This was the conclusion from the Wall Street Journal and so many have come confirming rumors. In particular, although there are several examples of this, EasyPay define very well what could be the natural way of payment with iPhone, at least in terms of design. Ricardo del Toro, the author, has provisions in Dribble a series of sample images of great quality and very well pointing to the conceptualization of the model.
Del Toro's work, both in its design and its staging could well be a great example of the future of payment with iPhone and not surprise us to find authentic and great similarities in the actual function. The concept of del Toro, some partners would be the first to take advantage of this feature, which also have been chosen quite rightly seen as they could directly benefit from a payment system with iPhone.

The reality of payment with iPhone

The truth is that with the possible similarities are actually quite striking. For example, both the design of the application itself as the minimalist, general are very significant, not only for aesthetics, but for functionality. The iPhone payment service should offer a digital account, as shown in the concept, which could not pay in cash. Simply connect and settle and we would have completed the transaction in such small things like coffee.

The idea behind the iPhone payment using Touch ID is quicker and easier everyday payments, creating a new standard in both everyday issues such as shopping features. This has been shown on several occasions since Cupertino, including some Tim Cook's statements. Implementing iBeacons in stores are promoting the increasingly rapid adaptation of these systems via mobile payments. Although the extension is still low, the iPhone is a payment system that promises much, considering the care we left closed ecosystem. So do not be surprised if we see an announcement about it in the months that lie ahead, and if finally we saw a pay official iPhone, not surprise us that looked like the concept of showing EasyPay del Toro.

Tim Cook speaks at the Wall Street Journal

Add to Flipboard Magazine.
After confirming a better financial results than expected last night, Tim Cook has devoted a few minutes to Wall Street Journal to talk about the present and the future of Apple. From the U.S. media have focused on this new product category that Tim promised for sometime this year. This is what I replied:
"You need time to do it right. Our goal has never been to be first. [...] In the market you can see a lot of products that have not been well thought out and consequently do not meet well with their duties. We do not focus on many products to spend much time in each of its details, and this facet of Apple will not change. It is the way in which we have operated for years and will continue so. I have a good feeling about what we're going to launch, and is closer than ever" (Tim Cook)
Apple CEO has released a laugh when from Wall Street Journal have asked the exact date of the launch: all know how jealous the Cupertino company with its calendar. But Cook has taken to defend the current product line, which has allowed Apple to grow 15% annually in profits.

And what about all those iTunes accounts? Tim Cook has spoken of them:

"I think it's an interesting area. We have nearly 800 million iTunes accounts and most of them have credit cards linked. We already have people using TouchID to buy items in our stores, so it's an area of interest to us. And it's an area where no one has found the key yet. I know there are some companies competing in this market, but people still have a wallet in your pocket. And me too, so this probably means that no one has found the key yet" (Tim Cook)
Will Apple found that form of payment that we will begin to look at our wallets and purses as antiquated? When in Cupertino are sure to have something that works.
